I'm reminded of the Makkuro Kurosuke in the Totoro film, but I know I've seen a meaner version somewhere else, probably not Studio Ghibli. It's a fairly simple shadow monster form, but now I just can't think of where I've seen it before. The inner light shining out is great, has been done by others, and fits this piece well. It just stands out as simple but very effective.
