Having rendered some fat dragon characters i(e.g.
'Dragomike',
'Tombfyre', et al) in the past in my "FA" site, I thought I'd try my hand (er, paw) at rendering a few 'fat dragon hybrids' for my latest "EFF" ("Extraordinarily Fat Furries") comic gag...
Since I live in an area of south Florida with lots of roadways, I come across the occasional "Adopt-A-Street" sign on a daily basis. The "Adopt-A-Street" program allows some residents (be they individuals or whole groups) to help keep their neighborhood spic and span (by picking up litter, recycling, and other similar acts).
I had chosen a trio of 'dragon hybrids' to offer their services in cleaning up their favorite thoroughfare: one that has lots of restaurants! The 'volunteers' I've attempted to illustrate are (from left to right) 'K-Neko' the dragoncat, 'Zeek'' the dragonfox, and 'Vargr' the dragonwolf. I would've loved to had added more 'dragon hybrids' to my strip... but this one panel can only make room for just so many behemoths!

I'm glad you'd enjoyed my "EFF" comic strip gag, Vrghr. Regrettably, I could only make one of the 'fat dragon hybrids' immobile (in this case, 'Zeek'). If I'd made all three of you immobile, I'd have to render more hybrids, just to roll you all across the street... and there wasn't enough room in the panel for additional characters!
Yeah, GDZeek, that was the original intent of the gag - to have your immobile dragonfox 'fursona' rolled across the street (with the aid of two other 'fat dragon hybrids') from one eatery to another. At the last minute, I had removed a 'Closed' sign from the pizzeria, so that the three characters would have some place to go to!
Hey, dat was just an appetiser, doodz! Let's find something else to eat! I'm hungrier than the wolf!
Well, Rob, I gotta say I'm honoured to be added in one of your pics, and it loos really awesome. The gag was once again really funny and I like the details (also considering that my character is really hard to draw and u drew him almost purrfectly!) That tummy smooshing, bouncing and groping is adorable!
Thank you very much! I really appreciate this, since u're one of my first furry heroes from my childhood, dude!

It's true, Neko. Your character is more complex to draw. To save some time in rendering your dragoncat 'fursona', I'd left out certain garments (shorts, cap, etc.); but I'm still going to replace this image with an updated one, in which I'd added extra stripes on your character's face (which I forgot to include the first time around).
