My OC inspired set that I made for myself (I could say, finally!)
Took me way too much time than it should... And even if working with those metal scales is awesome, I don't think I'd have enough patience for another tail. For gloves... maybe C:

Full gloves, like scales all around the arm or full gloves like up to the elbow? I guess either way could be done, just because of the crocheting technique I can't predict if the scales would line up nicely on the underside with the all-around type (because it is being worked in kind of spirals). Of course they'd use more scales anyway C:
And thank you!
And thank you!
Ah, with fingers... Well, fingers from yarn aren't a problem, but I don't think the scales would look good, as there would be probably only one row of them on each finger. Or, smaller scales overall could be used, like here http://craftymutt.deviantart.com/ar.....oves-371872498 but I don't think more than two rows would fit on each finger anyway :C I have no experience mixing the sizes together (actually, I didn't even see the small scales yet), so I can't say how would it look.
Actually no, the perspective may be a little weird, but the scales are the same size both on the tail and the gloves- and I think they are "large" by The Ring Lord. Maybe it looks like that because the pattern is quite dense. I didn't have an opportunity to lay my hands on small scales yet.
