Good evening, my subjects!
And welcome to the eve of the launch of Borderlands 3...! I mean.. "Borderlands the pre-sequel". I am your host, Mad Ethy, and will entertain you as the time ticks down to release! Provided you can get several hours of entertainment from that surprised blank look on my face as mister James Kincaid sneaks up on me. ;)
Yes - its another Borderlands on the verge of public release, and so another round of fan art! This time mister Atryl has drawn Etheras cosplaying as Moxxi, with James the stallion as Marcus (Marcus was Moxxi's 3rd husband, "Good with numbers, and his hands" (from Moxxi's intro video: hence the title).
So what do I think about Borderlands? Stylistically its very impressive. The dialog is top notice, as is the voice acting and the graphics. I expect the next installment will not disappoint in these areas. I was a little disappointed by how badly they nerfed the Borderlands1 characters for Borderlands2. I mean... here you have a bunch of folks who are essentially misanthropic badass sociopaths who come to this planet to find a vault of alien weapons to get filthy rich, killing thousands of people along the way on this harsh unforgiving planet called Pandora where life is arguably cheaper than bullets. Now you zoom forward to Borderlands2, and all of a sudden these badasses are all like... tame... and banding together out of the goodness of their hearts to save this junky city? Really? I mean.... did the writers even play the first game?
Here's hoping they fixed it a bit for installment #3. Maybe they learned not to change characters who aren't exactly politically-correct. I mean... its Borderlands, its not supposed to be PC. Although you can play it on PC!

Can I assume you will also be visiting Pandora in an preparation to add that planet to your reign, Sir? Well, I shall make good use of my armaments then in the near future~ You ... just persuade the locals with your unique methods of conviction~ ;)
