Ghost Story: Confrontment pt 3
For the rest of class, Ghost was made to feel uncomfortable, as the black hedgehog was there from before, and even though they weren’t sitting close to one another, she could feel him just staring at her. It was like he was staring into one’s soul; it made her shiver. How happy she was to rush out of the classroom when the bell rang. She was even able to escape Shadow in the rush of other students trying to get out. Carefully ‘ghosting’ through the hallway, she was able to get out the school without any problems. Looking back at the school, she dusts herself off, before hitting the ground running, to go and make her usual daily meeting.
Biting her lip, Ghost slowly peeled her school uniform off of herself, discarding of the blouse, and skirt, leaving her in only her gloves, and boots, and white quilled fur. This is how it was like every meeting, for the one she met with felt it safer that the ones he met would be a lot less likely to hide things from him if there were no clothing to hinder them.
“You’re late,” he stated with a smirk. She may have been afraid of Shadow, but this character totally freaked her out. Yet, she had come to work for him. He wasn’t from around here, but he sure took an interest in a select few she was going to school with. That would have been apparent; he did look for her services to survey and watch those members of the Freedom Fighter team after all; and she was relatively new at the school herself.
“I… had a bit of trouble at school,” she stammered, walking up to him and dropping to one knee, with her head bowed. “Forgive me..”
“What were you able to gather for me?”
She went ahead explaining the intel she was able to gather for that day, as well as her note of Shadow’s suspicions of her. After she had fin I shed up her report, he could only smile, rubbing his paws together. “Excellent. I may be able to move ahead of schedule after all.” She bit her lip as he ushered her out, having hesitated to ask about Sonic himself, but decided it was for the best. She quickly got dressed, and headed away from his lair.
