At last, he is done! This is Hookbeak, a peacock who was about 20 years old when he passed away. His bones definitely show his age, they are very brittle and calcified. Some areas show a lot of abnormalities/unusual warping. His keel has a natural bend/warp to it that looks as though he might have damaged it while living and it healed. He was one of my best friend's aviary birds that was very generously gifted to me. He is part of my personal collection and NOT FOR SALE. He is also one of the largest things I've articulated to date....and I definitely hate doing birds. I'm goin' back to mammals...
