Rob Barion before the gay bashing.
A old photo of Rob with his ex lover CJ Johnson, the former quarterback for the Newark Wildcats from 1997-1999. They met in high school in October 1998 after CJ saved Rob from being beat up by bullies. They fell in love and dated from 1998 until 2001. The gay bashing that left Rob in a coma sadly destroyed their relationship. By 2001 Rob was weak, sick and constantly ill after recovering from his yearlong comatose state. The strain took its toll and Rob decided to break up with CJ because he was making him so sad.
They remain extremely close friends today, less than lovers, but more than friends.
