Introducing my latest character: Gustav the luchador rhino!
Of Mexican origin, Gustav trained as a luchador and was virtually undefeated before making his way overseas to compete in other lucha libre championships, sending the majority of his prize money back home to the orphanage he was raised at (a bit cliche, yes xp).
Luchadors battle at the risk of being unmasked should they lose; the mask is the symbol of their legacy and glory. They live and fight in the masks, not behind them, and always wear them even in public. Defeated luchadors must remove their masks at the end of the match, and their legacy effectively ends. It's all or nothing... for every match they fight....
Because of the mask few have seen Gustav's true face, and hopefully none will
Outside of the ring he's a very friendly guy, albeit doesn't know his own strength sometimes. A bit of a romantic, he's not shy to ask someone he likes out to dinner and a dance... :p
