Yeah, nocturnal orb weaver's can be tricky to expose right.

I recommend long exposures on a tripod with less flash. They tend to stay in one spot, so a tripod isn't too difficult to position to photo them.

Heh, thanks for the advice... unfortunately, though, all I have available is a digital camera with two automatic flash settings. ;)
