Last week the Collings Foundation's Wings of Freedom Tour visited Hagerstown Regional Airport (Hagerstown was once the HQ for Fairchild Aircraft Co.)
WOF flew this sleek North American P-51C pursuit plane "Betty Jane" in. Betty is one of few that were modified with a 2nd seat, I think for training and/or express transport. It's a fast plane, and although ground pix were easy, these airborne images were a bit tricky... doggone showoff fighter jocks!
I took lots of pics. More of them later...its past my bedtime tonite!
