It looks like you simplified your style.

I did. I felt like I was trying to add too much detail such that I was actually making things look messier. Thus, this time around I tried sticking to mostly soft lines and curves and the basic shapes I'm used to. Plus the hands/feet are torturous if I try to make them "accurately".

Well, it's a cute direction. I would continue to define it.

I like cute, so that's great to hear! Of course I know I shouldn't stop here and I will continue to practice. Once I settle into the new job and establish my schedule, I might be able to try to get into a routine where I can set time aside for drawing (after all, I will always have weekends off, unlike my current situation). Right now, Walmart schedules me for all sorts of inconsistent hours that vary from week to week, plus I'm currently preparing my transition into my great new job, meaning I have less free time than usual.
