Sam's son. As an Owona-clan Cubi, Vincent is especially skilled in the art of in-combat shapeshifting. The natural size of his claws mean that he is never truly disarmed. While they are better suited for piercing than slashing, they are still nonetheless a formidable weapon.

Vincent gets teased a lot for his coloration, but he takes it all in stride, not letting it get past his generally stoic demeanor. He has a soft spot for children, and among his clan has a reputation for sneaking in through people's windows at night when he thinks a child may be in danger. Naturally, this has led to a number of "misunderstandings" when he's been caught, but with his strength and the general populace's fear of Cubi, he's been able to escape most such situations relatively unscathed. He has been blamed for several kidnappings, but thus far has been proven innocent of all cases. His affection for children has sometimes led to nasty rumours about his sexual preferences, and these rumours are among the few things that can break his calm, sending him into almost legendary fits of fury.

Vincent's favorite food is raspberries and he is amazingly susceptible to being bribed with raspberry pastries or candies, even when being asked complicated or dangerous favors. He doesn't like alcohol and is allegedly immune to poison.

Vincent has three children of his own: a son in clan Taun and a pair of semi-identical M/F twins in clan Zezzuva. Following Owona's death, he converts to Ambrose through Sam.
