Chakat Overhand put down the audio guide and shuddered. Shi hadn’t even realized this was a foreign guest exhibition before looking really close, an effect no doubt quite intended by the curator. History repeats, not exactly but in recurring patterns. Could something like this happen again, here and within living future? The tensions are there. How goes this old curse again, ‘May you live in interesting times’? I hope they don’t get this interesting in my lifetime. Or ever again.
