Yeah, I'm back home in California. Good old Golden state of weird California.
Born here; Edje-cated here (Haha); probably will be planted here many-many-MANY years from now too.
Then again who knows. I may move up to Alaska permanently. Or, to another state (maybe one that's cheaper to live in)??
Actually (very short family history) - Dad's side came over with the Mayflower. Related also to a signatory on the Declaration of Independence - we think!
Mom's side came over from Scotland about 1820, into the port of either Baltimore, New York or Philly (we're not sure on the port). Settled in Virginia, moved to Kentucky, great-great-great grandfather was trained as a Doctor at John's Hopkins. Family moved to Oklahoma then to California (yeah...we were the early Okies). Finally settled in Visalia, until the ranch (now mini-malls and asphalt) was sold.
