Purple and green are my favorite colors. :3
Finally had time to actually sit down and draw for the first time in months. Moved out of my parent's house, got a job that's sort-of in my field. It's not where I want to be but I can make it happen if I work hard. I'd like to try my hand at happy little portraits like this for commissions with the simple background and all. I think it'd be nice, kinda relaxing.
P.S. I will hear no comments that this click's body is anything but rockin' since I used myself as a reference. :P I usually elongate the torso much more and I definitely place butts way lower which I'm thinking might be a mistake? I really need to get back to using a reference more often.
Hey, if you're interested, this is available as a print on my Society6 account: http://society6.com/product/grrrrr-kks_print#1=45

POWER. Glad to hear you're out on your own! And it shows, this has that relieved and hopeful feel in the very lines themselves. It certainly is refreshing! I wish you luck with these pics...
I have a short torso and I'm afraid I draw my characters to match, so I'm no advice giver in that regard. (I also have gigantic hands, so I overcompensate and give my characters teeny hands. It's noticable...) References are your lifesaver, hon.
