Oh Dish. If not the fact that after two hours of watching you you randomly go into a sleep mode from inactivity it's now also this bullshit.
I should not be expected to have to press one of the buttons on the remote every hour. If I turn on Cartoon network and leave it there, I expect you to leave that fucking channel on all goddamned day if I so wish because you're a goddamned channel provider not a fucking interactive videogame.

You can change the settings so that the dish receiver does not turn of for inactivity. If you got the Hopper go to settings. Then you go to "Diagnostics" and "Updates" to disable inactivity standby. Still it's disappointing that Dish removed cartoon network because Turner networks are greedy bastards.
The middle of the night is when I'm watching it. Also as I've read up on it myself, the type of receiver I have cannot have it's sleep timer disabled.
I've found a great way to not be bothered by it though, just don't turn it on. I mean cartoon network ain't on there anyways so there's fuckall else for me to watch on it. It was literally the only channel I ever had it tuned to.
