ART TRADE: Vector Yamazaki
This is my part of an ART TRADE with
vector_yamazaki
He wanted me to draw his dalmatian/wolf hybrid character in the classic Magneto (X-Men) costume.
I'm pretty happy about the result.
And this is the second anthro dog I've ever drawn!!
Thanks to
rajakaen for helping me with the head.

Hope you like it.

If you checked my drawings you would see that I AM using this style for years. XD
I just didn't use it in my digital works so often... but now I do.
I've been influenced by these old comics and that's why my style fits so well. At least I think so!
Thanks for the comment.

This looks very awesome! I liked how you positioned Vector, creating a deep thinking mood for him
I always prefer this costume of Magneto, being his most recognized and iconic costume. Still, you nailed every detail perfectly. I was wondering if there was a larger version of this drawing? Just asking because seeing it in any size is good in the end. ^^

I'm glad you like it!! ^_^
And yes... I also love that old costume. It's from the years when I was a kid... hmmmmmmmm!
Please send me an email with "Large Version". And you will get it!

Your welcome! My email is rfc586[at]aol.com and to trade with you again in the future. ^^
When I first saw this I thought, "Oh, a dog version of the Greek god of the underworld Hades. Oh look, he's holding the helmet of fear given to him by the Elder Cyclopes!" When i read the description and found that was not it, I sill can't see anything but Hades still (Not a huge X-men fan so not really seeing anything iconic.) One day, i hope someone, maybe even I, commission a Hades version of their character/fursona now. It must be done to honor the god of the underworld (Not death exactly, just the place you go when you die), and wealth (woo. Get the money! Wait is that Roman Pluto...eh idk. I am fuzzy)
Hehehehehe.... XD
Well... this is Magneto the way Jim Lee used to draw him. And that guy is by far one of the best and most original X-Men artists. He's drawn the first comics I own... and that's almost 20 years ago.
^_^
Hades would certainly look good in this pose, too.
