Another one. The theme is decidedly post-apocalyptic and this might just be the poster child for that concept. It doesn't translate as well to the acoustic guitar as Homecoming did, but that in itself makes it interesting to try anyway (and hopefully interesting to hear as well).
I followed the same two-layer approach, and it might not sound like it, but it's pretty hard to play - so since I didn't want to go for another take the're some proverbial dents and scratches in there. You can handle that, surely? ; )
The storm is vicious
Relentless
Rapacious
The school is deadly
Learning buried
Forgotten
Come sun
And rise on this broken world
The land is vicious
Relentless
An exit
Come sun
And rise on this broken world

Ya know, I feel much potential energy in this song, however it's need for a 'kinetic' boost is quite large. Is there any chance that you could do it in electric as well? Not that the acoustic doesn't sound excellent, but I think if it was a bit more "aggressive" as electrics tend to do, it would prove even nicer Seriously though, if you practice it on the acoustic more, I think you can make it sound better than an electric...I like acoustic
Hah, you're in tune with the song, it seems. I'll explain why.. this song is actually written on the electric guitar, and that's the 'project' I'm working on here - a full-on electric happening. I just wanted to dish it out on the acoustic to see what would happen. (And cause it probably would take a little while before I'd get it all recorded - this is easier than tabbing songs.)
So thanks muchly for your input, but I think we're on one line here. : )
