You are more than welcome. For reals. I LOVE YOUR CHARACTERS. I try to improve the way I draw them with every new picture. I think this is the best I've done so far. XD Your creatures offer a delightfully tricky / challenging um... EXPERIENCE. Can't wait to send this to you. : D
HEE you are using it as an icon too omfgfghrth. ;0; ilu. *facecling*

Thank you so much!! This is actually, yes, mostly pen, marker and white gel pen. There's a TINY amount of colored pencil, but the vast majority is what I mentioned. XD It just took.. a LOT of time, but I am very happy with the result.
Thank you again! I really appreciate it. *HUG* ^^

What cons are you planning to make it to? : ) It would be awesome to meet you!
I won't be offering prints or anything of this however, as it was a commission of a personal character / creature. I know I have the rights to make prints, but I just do not do that out of courtesy to the commissioner.
After all, I have personal characters who I have commissioned other artists to draw, and I wouldn't feel comfortable with the artist making prints of it and other people buying it.. Kind of weird of me, I suppose, but heh, my characters are my babies, you know? :3

That's not weird at all! I have the same policy unless the client is totally ok with there being prints. Some people like the idea of their commission hanging on someone's wall apparently. =3
Well, I've been a bit on the poor college/art student side of life so haven't gone to too many commissions, but the ones I can go to most easily are FC, Rainfurrest, All Fur Fun and Califur. I'm being bold though and trekking out to Morphicon this coming year (09) though. If that works out well I might make a habit of it. =)
Which cons do you frequent?
Wanna note me to chat more?

Oh WOW! The detailing in the scales is just brilliant! My favorite part is the head. The intricacy of the patterns, the placing of that light blue, the horns, the smokey stuff comin out of the mouth... The facial structure, everything!
The coloring of the wings and the clouds look effortless (like you weren't trying UBER hard they look naturally gorgeous), they are so beautiful! Of course I can't imagine the amount of patience you put into that. XD The blending is really pretty.. This is one of your best pictures I think. :)
