Also, something to note: The Aztecs and Mayans have the quetzacoatl (winged snake) as one of there gods. And I believe they even have a god that's a mix of bird, cat and snake. However, as far as I can recall, the Incas DON'T have any gods of such mixed species. But their mythology and symbology DO rely on the bird, the cat/puma, and the snake (just as separate species).
So the thinking here is, by mixing the 2-3 cultures together like this, the Incas will now have their own "winged catsnake" god(dess). =>.>=
