This is the design I did for a family here in town who is having a yearly family vacation. Yep, this is part of my job. *L* I think for a 25 shirt run (or anything else they want to use the artwork for later), they got a steal of a deal on this.

Yes, I know that there are no shadows from the posts, but I didn't want to make it more complicated... plus my boss told me to "just scan it as it is. It's good enough" before I could do more. In fact, this was supposed to be my "rough" before doing the final. In the end, it wound up looking more like a rough woodcut, which fits the mood, but there's lots of issues I wish I could have fixed. Oh, well.

Maybe next time I'll get to finish it up with clean lines and better shadows, but.. whatever. I'm happy they bought it. This is the 4th piece we've printed, and the second we've sold to clients. Whoot! My boss says if I keep selling original art, we get a raise.

The image was sloppily drawn on paper, inked with a sharpy marker, some Micron pens and pencil, scanned into Corel Draw and Auto-Traced into vector. The text and outline were added after it was vectored.
