It's good to hear some of your music again, especially so since it's new stuff. If required, I can critique for you on new stuff but shan't do so without being requested.

I like quite a few things about the track and considering how you were telling me you were 'rusty' on the old keyboard/piano I don't think you've lost that much in the time you've spent away from the keys, it still sounds good.

So this is me telling you to keep up the good work, because it's worth listening to and +Favouriting.

I'm trying to figure out right now why you ever stopped playing. One of your best yet ]:8) Dain would be proud!

Flatterer, bull. *giggles softly and blushes* I stopped playing because I was a fool and thought shinies were the way of life. Too bad they're all virtual and rendered worthless twice a year, huh? =x

That's one of the reasons World of Warcraft in particular is one of the truly shittiest MMOs out there and why I'd want you to join me in "City of..." if it weren't for you going through all this.

When you feel you can balance out real life with games again, give me a lick ]:8) Any more time I can spend with my stud is time well spent.

Shinies are automatic upon character creation, considering its impressive character design system and multitude of combinations and pieces, on top of a handful of unlockable and "invented" pieces. It's also "loot-less" so what you collect goes towards enhancing particular powers. I hope future MMOs follow a similar idea. It's also tons more casual because, short of most of the task/strike forces and trials (of which take a mere couple hours) EVERYTHING in the game is soloable and they aren't required to do be effective anywhere in the game. And to continue with the lootless system, this also means you can be quite effective with just normal, store bought enhancements (which the game was originally balanced around, anyway, and now we can "invent" enhancements as well as collect recipes for sets which offer stat bonuses, all of which do not require doing task forces to even collect!). I could go on and on, as well, as to how versatile you can be with your playstyle and not be forced into one single and monotonous roll to be effective with the more challenging content out there. Plus, again, the incredible diversity in power sets, and the base class archetypes...

It's also the most role play friendly MMORPG I've EVER encountered, it's only comparable to Nexus of which I played 8 years on and off.

Plus, super group (you know, "Guild") base building ]:8) Long bloody process to really get a nice, big base, but even my tiny one is really looking cool.

I should stop now before I convince you to jump the gun and get sucked into another MMO before you're ready ]:8P

Wow. Hefty download for dialup (I usually have listened to your stuff at work, but wanted to hear this right away since it's been so long) but it was worth it. Didn't sound rusty to me at all, love. And it still sounds like you, too. It's so nice to hear something new from you and know that you weren't eaten by elf horses or dragons or whatever it is in that silly game.

I just grinned at your "electrician" story on LJ. See, I think a large part of your problem is just lack of self-confidence. You are neither dumb nor incompetent, and of course you can do a task and get it right. And yes, when venturing into new territory like that, it's best to have someone else double check you before turning the power on, but I'm not surprised at all that you had most of it right on the first try.

Nothing says I love you like arc shorting the breaker box right after you get home from work, right? ^^; I often wonder just how close to one of the numbskulls you write about in your journal I am some days. *laughs* Maybe closer than I'd like to be, out here... I've got the totally wrong skillset for the setting I'm living in, thats for sure!

You're not incapable of learning new skills though. That's the thing to remember and put into practice. You didn't actually short anything out because you had someone check your work first. That's what an apprentice has to do, and you did it.
