Hehe, I used to have a cat. He attacked my feet when they move as I sleep. And yep, he loved to meow a lot at me.

I've aquired a rescue Persian. She has learned that I am allergic to her and that I require air for the BREATHING. She knows now that if she carefully lies across my face when I'm asleep I'll choke on her fur and wake up...at which point she'll yodel in my ear until I pet her for a while. If I stop petting her before she's ready to be finished cuddling, she'll yodel and, if that doesn't work, resort to smothering me again.

I love my cat. She's so awesome. :D

This is adorable, btw. XD I think every cat owner and most cat people in general would find this funny...I sure do.

Luckily for me also we had her de-clawed, so those kneading moments were quite comfortable.

My cats have done that way too often for me. Especially LuLu, my tabby cat. She'll be making all kinds of noise in the den room, I get up to investogate, and there she is on the back of the couch just talking away. -_- I have no idea what the hell she's saying/wanting either, which only adds to the annoyance.

She'd go looking for me and i'd here this "HELLOOOOO?" I'd call out to her. "HELLOOOOO?!" I'd call back to her again.
She'd find me and have this look on her face like "oh, THERE you are!... petmenow"

Have you ever had a cat take one of it's toys, carry it somewhere off in the house, and start meowing realllllly loud with the toy in their mouth? My Turkish Angora does it. And she won't stop unless you "Go see the pretty mouse she caught and tell her she's a good kitty". XD

Our cat Penis has taken it upon himself to be our personal wakeup call. Especially on days we want to sleep in, there is he at 7 AM, jumping around, biting our hair, meow meow meow meow meow meow.

My condolences about the cat. ._. I've lost a cat, and two special dogs in my family, one a month, the other five years ago..
But yeah, I can sorta understand, the cat my family rescued is currently going nuts because he lost his. >_> XD He has to stay in a cage until he heals from the operation, and geez being in a cage drives him mad. @_o; I don't know how his vocal chords hold up through him meowing all day/night.

This exact conversation happens to me every single day. Though usually I end up shouting "Speak English dammit!" at my cat, at which point he runs off to stand by whatever he wanted... which makes me think that he at least understands English.

My cats are attention whores, and I'm often drawn into prolonged chats with them. The topic almost inevitably drifts to matters of philosophy, such as why they turned toward Evil.

WHY?!!? why did this have to be so fucken funny?!?!?! LMAO!!!

I don't find the 'Mah-Gronk' one nearly so funny as the 'Bur-Gow!'...only because my mother once had a cat that would ALWAYS make that noise when you scratched her back in a certain spot. I've lived with cats for about 90% of my life, so I can DEFINITELY empathize with this :P

I think the funniest two things some of my mom's cats did boil down to this -

One of them, whenever we fed her wet cat food, would purr AND eat at the same time. It ended up being a HILARIOUS noise....'brrrrr-oum-oum-oum!'

Also, we were convinced that one of my mother's other cats thought he was a dog. He acted like one. He'd lick your face, he would play fetch, he would bark, and he ate little doggie bones.

Oh ya, also my cat heathen though he won't wake you up, he plays fetch just like a dog with his little mousies and if you grab his tail and just hold onto it eventually he will just say fuck it and give up :P (he is a pussy!)

my cats when I lived with my parents a few years back.. all... fucking twenty seven of them, would do this too... only after they finally let you sleep, one would curl up on your face for a nap and suffocate you, or they would play stampede and I'd have about ten of them dash over me, claws digging into my chest and crotch. x.x

I miss my kitty, We would have this almost every night I had school in the morning, and he loved to tell me where to sleep. Usually in the middle of the hall and where I could be stepped on.... by this time my dad would be up and take over talking to our cat.


But yes, boy do I remember those night time talkings.... and I miss them.

My cat Skuggan was an outdoor now is indoor, I think its stressful for him but at least he gets petted, and snuggles with me in bed. I will miss him soon when he goes.
