Good thing this is cartoon physics (as shown by the style you used), or else he'd be dead or at least severely injured from having that weight land on him.

I don't get how he's douchey either, unless you're using that as shorthand for "cocky and smug thanks to his beefiness and how much weight he can lift." Because I think he's just cutely confident, and of course he gets instant karma for it anyway. The tiny bit of extra weight being too much is just classic.
