This is so cool!

Few weeks ago, I visited the wild dogs at the Cincinnati Zoo. so beautiful they are!

They just got a pack of Wild Dogs at the St.Louis Zoo, but they won't let masks in.

I know the Brookfield Zoo in the Chicago area has a "Boo at the Zoo" event where people come in costumes. A group of furs always go and suit around the zoo. I did one year a couple years ago and had a blast!
Does St.Louis Zoo have anything like that?

They do, but adults are not allowed to wear masks or anything covering their face.

I was half tempted to request to wear mine if I show up outside of suit, suit up there, and stay in a designated area. Yet, sigh, my lazy side shows up once again.

Damn it, I still need to getting around to seeing a real wild dog in person! Awesome that you did it in suit, so cool^^

This is actually the second time. I am just lucky that the local wolf Sancuary has painted dogs and allowed me to visit in suit in exchange of being their event mascot for free. Win win for me!

Yeah I am not surprised Dogo would be giving you a confused look because seeing you he now realizes that there is another Painted dog right outside his enclouser with people when he cant be X3

However great picture, the Dogs are my favorite animals that we have at the center and I especially love our female Dillion who just might be pregnant again nso nest time you comeback around the pack might actually have grown :p

Oh yeah no problem! Yeah there is not just him as well but Salvo (Who my Painted Dog Character is named after), Datoga, and Dillon, the female who 'could' be pregnant and I am sure you having been out there a few times know how much of a hands off facility we are so we HOPE that she is but from initial reports they think she is starting to show that kind of behavior. She had a tie with Dogo in the picture in early august who is the packs new alpha so we will have to see what happens, but there breeding season is this time of year for the northern hemisphere so here's hoping ^^

Also you are very welcome and feel free to do that, and if I manage to find any more I will let you know because I am a volunteer/naturist/docent at the center and do a lot but I am not one who photographs a lot but I do know people who take those photos for Wolf Fest so I will see what I can do.

Also fun fact you are listed as the "Painted dog mascot" on the Endangered Wolf Center homepage under would fest ^^

Yup, seems I'm starting to become popular there. They were asking me if I would make a Maned wolf and swift fox costumes to tag along next time.

Oh yeah I would say you are! As far as that it would be interesting but that is up to you but I am not surprised that we did ask that. However it is good that you are as popular as you are out there for wolf fest because you add to the celebration defiantly!
