Ahh, well, I have to be in the mood to draw. I am still a stressed out and seething mass of fury from my old job, but I am getting better. I've installed an AC unit in my studio/museum, so at least it's not 105 at 7pm out there, anymore. I'll try to do at least one quality pic a week, if I can.
they were based on the old "bucket boots" you could fold the knee cuffs down, or wear them up and tied at the knee for brush protection, equestrian needs, etc. She always wore them up as she tended to kick the people she was fighting, folks armed with light foil-type rapiers. They wouldn't stop heavier sabres, like hers.
