Nice and "old school", as the cubs say. Takes me back to the mid-90s fandom.
You seem to be following the style of the 1978 animated feature film of WD (your characters are a bit cuter maybe). I was nine when I saw and it scared the crap out of me. My wife claims to have been scared for life by it.

Given that this story is over 20 years old, it is unlikely I'll do any more WSD comics soon. Then again, you never know when inspiration will strike like the fearsome claws of the General's Owslafa. Frith-rah!
