Title: Not misgiven, as in to cause doubt, fear or apprehension. But as in something not you did not mean to be given. Or with the mis- thrown in as being "wrongly" given.
Note, you do not have to read previous works to get all the context in the story. In fact, I am writing this collection of short-stories somewhat out of order (just like how the character, Ryan Colfxire, shares his stories to Renard out of order). And, honestly, I don't feel like any spoilers are in this story either. Yes, stuff does happen and closure is made, but this book is meant to be thought of as the beginnings and endings of Renard and Ryan are important, but most important are all the things that happen in the middle.
(Also, for those who read the previous stuff. I revised Roger name to Renard fit with the song I wrote about him from his mother, "Little Ren, Little Red." When I have the time, I'll go back to put Renard in place for Roger.)
If you wish to hear how the song is sung, click THIS.
So please, if you enjoyed this piece, read my other stuff with the same thumbnail and leave any constructive criticism on my work. Even a simple, "That was a touching story" or "That was sad" is appreciated.
Apologies for taking so long to publish another piece of the overall narrative. I've been having some time-management issues with work and school. Got into a bit of a loll of not writing, so I'm remedying it with working on shorter pieces to get my drive going.
