The mysterious effect spread faster through her body as she searched for aid. She was losing her muscles and bones as she felt herself become hollow, her organs absorbing into the fake fur more than two thirds of her body now consisted of. She struggled to hold herself together, but as her right hand separated and fell off, now little more than a costume piece, she began to grow more worried.
Her leg, her left arm, and her head were the only parts of her that still felt like flesh. She saw her left hand start to develop a seam, and knew soon she would be a 'fursuit' on the floor. She called for help one last time, her body converted by the effect.
"Can't... Can't stand.... My body... I'm hollowing out! Help me!"
A voice suddenly came from the darkness. "Lauren, is that you?"
"Over here! Something's happening to me!" She looked up, hopeful she would be saved....

On the one hand, it's probably freaky as hell to suddenly start hollowing out and turning into a suit... But, on the other hand, hasn't she experienced transformations so many times before that she has friends who could turn her back? Maybe she'll even enjoy a day or two as a suit? Might even feel nice and pleasant ^^
