Initially Bart was going to be Ambrose Bierce who ended up on Zandira after his disappearance. He said he was riding for an unknown destination, didn't he? But that was also supposed to include a reference by him to Oswald Spengler when he heard her name. Unfortunately Bierce disappeared four years before Spengler became renowned, so I had to drop that.

'Janine Spengler' - reference to 'Ghostbusters' and Janine (the company secretary)'s crush on dr. Egon Spengler. I didn't come up with that - Apparently Fred Perry himself did. He's only a little older than me, so I guess we have kind of the same popcultural era background.

Honestly, I feel she was a throwaway character and she's barely had any screen time in Gold Digger. Of course, one panel of that is worth over 9,000 of mine.
