I had used the 2003 version, I liked the battle system in that one. :3 Too bad it crashed and everything I've created has disappeared, too, so I'm not going to try again in a while. :<

And, about the pic: It's done in photoshop, not in rpg maker. The touch icons wouldn't work in it, and it's designed for something like DS.
Othervise, I think changing the box-style, adding the bg and the character pic should be possible in rpg maker VX (at least, I think it was do-able in rpg maker 2003). I'm not familiar with rpg maker VX, tho.

Would you please upload it somewhere when you finish working on the game, so we can play?

At the moment I'm not working on a game, that pic is done with photoshop. ^_^' But, if I'll finish a game someday, I might upload it somewhere.

I don't know, it just stopped working and now the data seems to be corrupted somehow. :< I was mainly testing things: days, weathers, events, importing stuff, making maps and so on, but still. At least I didn't have any bigger project going on. ^^'

Yes it is. :3 I should practice pixel-art more, so I could make my own tilesets and such.

It's crazy how useful MS PAINT is for that program. Pixel pixels~! <3

Hmm, you could probably salvage what ever you had so far if you had kept all of the separate files you used. Like the art you created for it and stuff. I don't know why it'd get corrupted, but that's a shame, I love how much you customized so far <3

Rpg maker is fun and this seems like it would have been a plecant game. seeing this gives me a little tingle to pick upp my old projects on that.

Thanks, tho this game is completely imaginary aside from this pic (done with Photoshop). I was thinking about a DS or something like that as a platform, and those two little pics are supposed to be touch-icons, perhaps inventory and character information.

This is such a simple idea, but so awesome to see it capitalized on. And of course, just about anything you put out is unbelievably cute <3

Tch! Everyone is so much better than me with photoshop! I just stopped using it i was so bad. Nice pic though, looks cool!
