Holy fuck! Mr. Bungle sounds kick ass! I was kind of referring to another band who's name escapes me now, but these guys are far more talented. I'll have to check out more of their music.
Another weird genre is "theatrical metal", popularized by the incredibly enigmatic Devil Doll (not the stage name for Colleen Duffy, but the Italian/Slovenian band), and the equally if not much more eccentric Mr. Doctor. That's some really odd stuff that I haven't much chance to figure out for myself whether or not I like it, but definitely worth a listen. Just don't expect a lot of luck finding any of their albums: their first release had only one copy (which Mr. Doctor keeps to himself), and their second [of six so far] had only 500 copies...350 of which were BURNED by Mr. Doctor himself! I shit you not, this man is quite a strange and complex character.
Also, be prepared for some musical reviews of your albums. I just have to get my shit together. It'd help if I had a chronology...

Chronology, eh? Well, I am (eventually) going to be writing some linear notes, etc. for a guy I am doing a CD trade with, so I'll send the text file when I get it written.
Devil Doll sounds interesting, I'll have to check out their work somehow...sort of sounds like a one-person Italian version of the Residents (with different musical techniques, of course)....

I kind of figured out roughly when each album was released, but your information will definitely help much more by listing each album by/with a specific date instead of "recorded between month A-month B.

Never heard of the Residents, although I know Devil Doll was a full band at least one time or other. they've got interviews with the former/current guitarists, drummers, etc. Probably right down to the guy who gets Mr. Doctor his coffee; the DD fans are pretty descriptive. The fan site is pretty cool, too, like a darker, simpler version of the Gorillaz web page.
