Just an example of a ref sheet I just wrapped up :)
wolfbeast won this character from one of my adoptable auctions and we worked together to assemble this ref sheet! Hope you like it - he went to a good home :)

incredible baine! i am still analyzing how you make such convincing fur.. i want to learn that soooooo bad that is one of the areas i suck at and am just trying to grasp. i used to make it one way but it was too mainstream.. dont worry though, i want to know how you do it so i may alter it a bit to use myself, not to copy your style exclusively...
is there any way you can show me? is there specific brushes you use? can you make a tutorial somehow or show a step by step? i am just dying to know.... and i may have asked this before i cant remember...

lol you've asked me several times before, but its okay. Yes I use a certain brush but whats most important is fundamental painting. Brushes dont solve any problems for you. *Paint* makes a good painting, not fancy effects. I could achieve the same technique using a regular circle brush. It would take a little longer, but would achieve the same effect.
Like I've said in the past the brush is just a series of dots arranged in a circle. When you drag the brush across, it creates "hairs". Very simple really, and anyone else reading can make the same thing.
