Definitely the colours used on the hair c:
They add easy differentiation between the three characters, and match their personalities~
The eye colour choices seem to echo that same effect, so compliments their too!

Awesome! Michael and Con actually dyed their hair so it wouldn't look like Nicky's. X3 Con did the bare minimum cuz he's a lazy li'l whiner and Michael did a horrible sloppy job.

lol Michael just slops on as much as he can and Con barely attempts to do anything.

Yep! Both of them wanted a way to be recognized as different from Nicky other than eye colors, so Con just let his hair go all wavy and dyed the tips dark while Michael mussed his up and gave it a haircut and dyed it bright red.

Well, all I really have is that he was originally an 11-year-old human who became an anthro wolf Cerberus through some kind of magic event just before his first day of middle school in a new town, and his weird appearance and nasty other heads drove others away from him so he's basically friendless. Maybe you can help expand on that?

That's a good start; off the top of my head I have a few small things.. nothing fantastic though. The other heads could be possible classmates or other people he knew who got involved by accident? Or maybe the heads represent his own pre-adolescent emotions, considering teens can go through so many stages of whininess and aggression? Not sure how to tie in magic :^(
The cerberus can be considered a hellhound, so maybe he got into some demonic stuff and now he's stuck in that body to do devil's dirty work as satan's bouncer? haha idk

Each head can represent an age/milestone in his life! Or, they could each be from a different time period because the heads sometimes symbolized that sort of thing.
The cerberus in a lot of old writings and stuff is depicted with a 'mane of serpents' and even a serpent's tail.. what if HE WAS BIT BY A MAGICAL SNAKE!! :0

I like the bitten by a snake idea, but these guys weren't really connected to Nicky at all, they're separate entities that got created due to his snake bite.
