Slice of life. Ironically enough, I drew this BEFORE Tami (my horse) tossed me in the river.

#was the former. Tami, at 21, has mostly outgrown the latter, although as she's a purebred Arab, she still has her moments. One of them was when I actually DID get tossed into the river. The combination of kayak and submerged branch triggered her, not that I blame her at all. It was at least the softest fall I've ever taken and I was back on in less than a minute, refreshed from the hot day. Of course, my cell phone didn't like it and it wasn't great for my tack...
Haha! I'll bet it was wonderful!
Having had the experience of having horses in Hawaii and riding on the beach, I can tell you from a singular viewpoint that being launched from the back of a horse into the Pacific Ocean is not the fun adventure it may sound like.
Also, evil, horse-eating pebbles abound in Hawaii. OHNOES!

This so much reminds me of one of Douglas Adams's quotes about horses: "They have always understood a great deal more than they let on. It is difficult to be sat on all day, every day, by some other creature, without forming an opinion about them."
I believe the sense of humor thing too.
