Hopefully, you have followed one of my links to the art of  lionus Goldenmane. Scattered throughout his art pages are a number of single page comics depicting the misadventures of himself and his friend Freaky Foxe. No matter how many times I look at these comics, they still amuse me. One day while I was driving to work, I was thinking about the various comics and an idea for a story based on a comic Lionus called The Thieves popped into my head. When I got home that evening, I emailed him the basic plot of the story and asked if I could write the story using his characters. He was kind enough to agree to allow the story to be written and to agree to review it before it was published to make certain I kept the two miscreants in character. Many thanks to Lionus for his support and kind words as well as his permission to work with his characters and post the results.
