i do not think i can word how i feel abt this, like, it's almost a surreal feeling to receive art from your favourite artists that you've admired for five solid years, and watch their style develop and fall in love w/ their art all over again every time they post something, like??? i get SO STOKED WHEN YOU POST ANYTHING BC I ADORE YOUR ART THAT MUCH, AND NOW THIS IS ART (((((FOR ME))))) AND IT'S LIKE. BEYOND A LEVEL OF EXCITEMENT THAT I THOUGHT WAS POSSIBLE. TEARS UP SILENTLY
UGH THOUGH, just, UGH, this is SO GORGEOUS!!!! I'M SO MAD!!!!! I adore everything about this, you've stylized chi so PERFECTLY, with the pointed and slightly-flopped ears to the little rounded muzzle, the subtle deviations from my usual really rounded ears and more pointed face are SO well done, you've really taken her and worked w/ her instead of just the kinda.... carbon-copy i get a lot??? ugh i LOVE when people mess around with my characters and deviate from the same way i draw them over and over, it's just, the best thing. god.
I ALSO CANNOT GET OVER HOW U ACTUALLY MANAGED TO MAKE A LITTLE HAIR TUFT //WORK// UNDER THE PARROT HOOD, AAUGH, i struggle SO much to draw dogs without hair tufts but it just... wasn't something that was gonna work w/ chi's hood, (i still struggle to draw her with hair anthro too hahaha i cry) and it's like how her suit is gonna be and i just adfl;gadfklgkladf;'g tears off my shirt and screams in2 the night like a wild animal about how much i love this

ok no for real your use of colour has always been SO ON POINT, but your more recent pieces over the past few months have just been SO ESPECIALLY ON POINT. THE POINTIEST. GOD. your artwork is so saturated and vibrant and it works SO WELL with a character like chi, this has such a tropical vibe to it without needing to set a full background or scene to it?? you kinda just feel it??? it's so wonderful ugh. i love the fact that although she's a white character too there's literally no space left plain white, everything has this vibrant pink-purple hue, and then the really deep blue and orange you've used in her pelt is SO much nicer than her usual colours and works SO WELL WITH THIS PIECE I'M JUST SCREAMING A LOT RIGHT NOW UGH!!!!!!!!! THIS IS TOO MUCH FOR ME TO PROCESS LIKE. STOP. U NEED 2 BE STOPPED.
i've literally been thinking about this piece for days LMAO i just bring it up on my phone at random intervals and stareat it. turns to stare into the sun. this is seriously one of my absolute favourite pieces by one of my absolute favourite artists and i am SO HONOURED you agreed to trade with me, i hope i can make my half for you even SLIGHTLY close to being on this level bc i'm just. omg. omg.
