terrible blurry photography, but it's the best I can do right now without a scanner. A lot of detail was lost. :(
some people think even your most standard of dinosaurs had a smattering of proto-feathers. Before the full-on feathered troodon group happened, the buds were emerging on various related critters, like this tyrannosaurus-esque fellow. this guy was painted in acrylic and india ink on a 5x5" wood panel. I think this is my most favorite of all the panels I did in this burst... I let myself go on it and it shows, there sure are a lot of colors... which sadly got a little washed out in this photo, but even dulled it's pretty vibrant. it's a little more balanced IRL, and less pukey looking.
will be for sale at MFF.

I love this one and the thunder dragon and the painting for dragonmaw, but have you noticed when you put them side by side that they're all making the same face? x3 They look really different otherwise and all very epic but I couldn't help but giggle a little at that XD

I did notice that... I was actually working on some others so when I hung them they would be opposing each other, but all the ones that didn't work out were the ones facing the opposite direction XD I still may do more to balance it out though. Though right now I'm breaking from painting and working on commissions.
Not sure about the picnic yet, was it the 21st you said? or 12th? gahhh, numbers :( I know I asked Ian about it, but he said he wasn't sure if he could get off work, unless it's on a sunday.
