I'm doing a pair of Pocher 1/8 scale Lamborghini Avenador LP-700-4 models for a video shoot. These are big chunks, mostly cast metal, about two feet (60cm) long and about 9lb/4kg. The white one has been delivered and I'm now working on a matte black one.

I need this in my life so much it's not even funny.
Have you ever seen the purple and orange Aventador with the stripes all over the seams?
I want to get a model and paint it like that but matte black and gold. :'I

That's pretty impressive. I myself put together a 1/24 scale model painted in Verde Ithaca, but 1/8 scale sounds like a load of fun!

Those 1/8 scale diecasts are EXPENSIVE! I have a number of lambos in 1/18, which are usually more reasonably priced ... but the most recent is the Reventon, a concept car based on the Murcielago that led to the angular, more "Transformers" styling of the Aventador. Personally, I prefer the more rounded lines of the Murcy.
