Did he write for them? The writing there is a real grab bag..some of them are great, but some are pretty awful. They have a new column now, "Booze Pig", about some low-life's adventures with his chain drinking friends in the worst dives in Maricopa county...I guess if they want to be a paper for everyone, pieces like that have a place.

I believe he was a cartoonist - something called the White Pages. Your right- they do have to have something for everyone - that's why I so detest TV - it's all pretty much brain dead.

Well that was my reaction to the ending. Very well done on leaving us wanting more.

A very well written short story. It was fun to read and the characters seems real. It reminded me of some fantasy stories I read when I was younger. Some where a door or other sort of thing lead to a fantasy world. A locked door is a mystery in itself indeed.

Immediate fave, and a really brilliant creation - the only thing that I raised an eyebrow to was a bull using the word 'buddy.' He must be purrritty laid-back. :)

Hehe, cool. Leaves a lot to wonder about ^~. Certainly we pass by a lot of things in life and never stop to explore them. So I say its a manifesto to stop and smell the manure =^.^=

Manure has a way of making sure it is smelled...with or without us stopping.

Very, very funny. So... different. Very unique approach to the theme. The story is short, but I laughed out loud in the end. A maze and a minotaur. Of course your talent in writing makes this very enjoyable, as the basic idea is actually pretty simple and even a bit farfetched. But the subject is handled with good humor, resulting the story to relate something very everyday and something very unusual, from the old legends. Great little piece, I truly enjoyed reading this.

Thanks! It does seem short..I was imagining it almost as a comic, which would have made it quite a bit longer. Unfortunately, I can't draw well enough to tell the story in the way I was imagining.

The opening was a tad un-catching, as it were, but that faded once you mentioned the door. This was altogether charming and clever, which I've rather come to expect from you. :)
