(Story by Koviell Sashermasock)
The Saddest Dragon
I had to travel to Port Marquis to meet Arkum, who will be waiting for me there. I met a duo of animal traders that agreed to pick me up in their cart, as long I stay at the end of the cart and that I don't bother the beasts.
This was supposed to be an easy trip on the road, but something happened. This is where our story begins…

"Can we stop somewhere soon? I really need to pee and goat is giving me a mean look."
"I'm sorry little guy, We don't understand your language." Claim one of the Traders, before he starts laughing.
I'm sure this goat thing must have evil thoughts. It keeps glaring at me. This is scary.
"Hey, do you see the beast over there?" Ask one of the Traders.
"I'm not sure what it is, but it's running fast, and it's coming right at us. Run!" Shout the other Trader.
"Hey! Don't leave me there guys! Meeps!"
I look around just to find another threat, one a bit more impressive than the goat. A dragon, a green scaled one was next to the cart. He roars and claws the side of the cart; half of it gets broken in the process. The beasts inside of the cart and I falls on the ground. I think I no longer need to pee. The dragon takes a bite out of a cow and the other animals scatter around and flee.
"You should try to eat cooked meat, it should be better than raw meat."
The Dragon looks at me, he seems a bit surprised.
"How do do you expect me to start a fire? By breathing?" Ask the Dragon.
"Some dragons can breathe fire."
"And I should cook it this way. I should do the same for you." Conclude the Dragon.
"Really?"
"Naa. I have no idea how I'm supposed to do so." Confess the Dragon.
"Maybe you need to be old enough for this. Maybe you could ask you could ask your parents about this."
"I don't think so." Said the Dragon.
"Why?"
"My parents can't breath fire." Confess the Dragon.
"Aw. Do they breathe something else?"
"Air, most of the time." Said the Dragon.
"So they're air dragons? Interesting. Never heard of those often."
"This isn't what I mean, silly. They don't breath anything else than air, mostly, because they're not dragons." Tell the Dragon.
"Your parents are non-dragons that gave birth to a dragon? This is wonderful!"
"Not really. Let me finish my meal and the two horses at the front of the cart, that didn't flee for some reasons, I'm really hungry." Express the Dragon.
"Okay!"
I wait for him to finish eating the raw cow meat, and then kill and eat most of the horses. When he has finish eating, he starts walking out of the road. He looks at me, I follow at his side.
"So tell me. Are your parents magical creatures?"
"No, they're not, as much as I know." Answer the Dragon.
"Spirit maybe?"
"Not at all." Answer the Dragon.
"Any deities?"
"I doubt of this" Answer the Dragon.
"Dragons then?"
"No they're not dragons. I already told that." Answer the Dragon.
"Oh yeah, sorry. Which race are your parents then?"
"They're humans." Clarify the Dragon.
"They're humans? How could humans gave birth to a dragon? This sound magical!"
"They didn't give birth to a dragon, they gave birth to a human." Return the Dragon.
"Oh, I think I get it now. They adopted you. This is nice of them."
"I wasn't adopted." Claim the Dragon.
"You're not? I'm confused now."
"I was human before." Confess the Dragon.
"You were a human before? But you look like a dragon!"
"I know, I was turned into a dragon. My name is Eliot by the way, but no one calls me like this anymore..." State the Dragon.
"Eliot is a cool name! But why no one call you Eliot anymore?"
"Because I'm no longer Eliot, well, me." Said Eliot.
"Why can't you be Eliot anymore? It's your name, you told it a few seconds ago!"
"Because I'm no longer the Eliot everyone knew. When I turned into a Dragon, my friends didn't recognize me and saw the dragon I am now as a threat, same for my family. My own mother thinks I'm a monster." Declare Eliot, before tears come to his eyes.
"Poor Eliot. But how did you end up turned into a dragon?"
"It was a while ago. I found a pound full of glowing water. I drank from it and I was slowly changed into a dragon." Tell Eliot.
"Weird, this reminds me a lot of stories I've heard before from different storytellers. They're all similar, weird and boring. But why in the world would you drink from an unknown glowing liquid?!"
"Because... Well, I don't know. For no reason at all?" Admit Eliot.
"This is stupid! It could have been poisonous! You could have died!"
"But I didn't." Said Eliot.
"Look at you now. You're no longer yourself; you're something else!"
Eliot starts crying.
"I just want to go back and be a human again. I'm sick of meeting people that either wants to slay me... or mate with me..." Reveal Eliot.
"What?"
"Yes, there are weird freaks, sometime. I can't stand them." Affirm Eliot.
"You should hide somewhere."
"But they come to my cave." Said Eliot.
"Try another cave instead."
"Mmm... yeah, I could try that. By the way, this is the entrance to my lair." Declare Eliot by pointing a cave.
"So this is the end of the route."
"Unless you want to go in and spend some time alone with me." Tell Eliot.
"It was fun spending some time with you, but err... There is someone waiting for me at Port Marquis. I should go now."
"No no, please stay. It was such a long time ago that I spend time with someone I love." Confess Eliot.
"Love? What? I just met you, and you don't even know my name."
"I don't care. I know when I see love at first sight. Please take me, my love." Deliver Eliot.
He raises his arms and tries to grapple me. I whistle an arcane note and create mirror images of myself. He grapple an image and it disappear.
"Why did you do that?" Ask Eliot.
"Look pal, I really don't want to stay here anymore."
I whistle another arcane note to turn invisible and I start running away.
"Why don't you love me?!" Yell Eliot before crying loudly.
What a weirdo. I can still hear him whine behind. Why do I always end up meeting weird people when I'm on a solo adventure...

My god.
I knew it would be a parody, but I didn't expect to be giggling by the end. When Eliot professed love right after complaining about weirdos... You're right, a lot of TF stories seem to have something like that happen.
He never even knew Soala's name! Truly a sad dragon.
Ah! In terms of writing... You're getting a lot better! But one thing that I noticed in this story is you have a bit of an issue with English tense modifications to verbs. You wrote that Eliot "answer" a lot; when using present tense you should remember that most verbs end in 's'! "Eliot answers" or "Asks one of the traders"
And Soala's name isn't mentioned anywhere but the tags! x3
Even so, I giggled; I like it. Great job, Koviell *Grins broadly*
