I thought it would be neat to post these. The original concept sketches for "It's Summer Time". The cool thing is how small they are IRL -- they're each maybe an inch and a half tall tops. (So on a 96ppi screen like mine, these are actually blowups.)

You basically have the same method as me then.
I draw stuff measurable in centimetres, scan it, print it bigger, trace it and do it detailed.
Can't work straight onto large paper. Stuff usually ends up looking horribly foreshortened because of how I look along the desk at it.

It's not that weird. Some of my best work comes from tiny sketches that I either blow up and retrace or incorporate into a larger piece. Sometimes I can upload them as is. Working compact allows me to finish my lines more quickly, before my extremely limited attention span runs out.
