i don't feel that way! :O except when i get real tired of hearing the stupid jokes. i'm reeeeeeeal done with that. and telling it to doctors and getting judgemental looks. but y'know, that's why there's awareness week.

I haven't heard any jokes. But I am fed up with having no urge for sex, when every furry I know is humping someone at some point :x Some even want me!

it is kinda awkward when people express interest & its like 'sorry man, i just dont feel that.'

but i can't say i've ever felt fed-up or left out. just not interested :o

I do. It's frustrating. :< And then I get aroused from quicksand, but it's not like... anything that can be translated to RL, like AT ALL, so it's... ugh. Just super annoying, messes with my head.

sexuality's hella complex!! i just assumed something was wrong with me til i learned what asexuality was. and then it was like oh. wait. wow some jerk in the 50s purposefully wrote asexuals out of his study of sexuality??? no wonder i have never heard of this before!

What's so strange is that growing up, sexuality was this VERY black and white sorta thing, like... no one ever talks about these things, ever, at all. It's either "have sex with girl" or "don't have sex at all", never these in-between things

Interestingly enough, I don't think people have ever noticed my asexualness (is that how it's spelled?). And the only thing that ever troubles me is when girls try to seduce me to no effect, and it's kinda hard to explain how disinterested I am about their bodies. All I care about is personality and intelligence.

Human sexuality is so cool. Shame it's like, -super damn taboo- to even talk about it outside of academic settings. I like that ice cream metaphor. Some people are EW CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM and some are "meh. I don't care for it." Very valid point.

Aw man it took me forever to understand that my best bud is ace; but luckily once we both got on tumblr she was like 'So I think this describes me' and suddenly having a name made it a lot easier to understand. Still hurt some feelings til then but it's all worked out.
