
Even among furries, 'Cats' isn't for everyone. Still, I would recommend listening to 'The Jellicle Ball,' or just read the poem. It builds up to such a climax that the words don't just sound like a song, they sound like a spell being cast -
'Jellicle cats are white and black/
Jellicle cats are of moderate size/
Jellices jump like a jumping jack/
Jellicle cats have moonlit eyes/
We're quiet enough in the morning hours,
we're quiet enough in the afternoon,
reserving our Terpsichorean powers
to dance by the light of the Jellicle moon!'
