Adorable time to go trick or treating, hmm? After all Plink's has gotta get her candy fix and spooky holiday is best holiday to do so.
She's got a lot of houses to hit though XD
(also if the costume is unclear, she's a skunk for halloween X3)

Lots of amazing color use in this piece. It would make a great piece of cover art for a story... Like the one you have linked here for example. :)
I'll try to get to it a bit later but what I did read sounds fun. Does it go through all you have illustrated here? Did you write it? Or did you commission someone to do it?
I've been looking through a few submissions I've been behind on today and this by far has been the best I've seen. The colors give such depth to what is portrayed. It's far from flat with a fell like Plinkie is going to genuinely run off the picture. Great job!

I"m glad you enjoy this picture. It's nice to know people do since this is my favorite one out of the three. I love messing with lighting effects and creating a lovely spooky atmosphere with the light of the moon. Colors are a fun point as well.
And no I didn't write the story. I"m hardly a writer. My friend Lysis wrote it as a gift X3 It is glorious yes.
Thank you again!

I was just going to note you on how I did get to reading the story. It was a great tale with a lot of fun emphasis on one's feelings in using the holiday as an opportunity to go out in a way in which is most desired.
I know a lot of Furries enjoy Halloween due to it being the one time in the year where those who do Fursuiting are most accepted rather than immediately judged as scary, creepy, or other unsavory things. So the story of being able to go out in a diaper as it is "Part of the costume" says a lot to how most of us wish those harmless elements about ourselves could be accepted more instead of judged so negatively.
The story was very fun to read. The part in which intrigued me most was how Plinkie met up with a lot of friends towards the end. Does this mean you have made a lot of friends before coming here to FA? Or are these pals you've met since FA? Or perhaps they are all OCs you've developed?
I like the attitude you give Plinkie. It's one that shows she's on a path of self acceptance with who and what she is. If someone wants to try and make her feel lousy for her harmless interests she just throws back their judgmental behavior while carrying on with her night. Having no shame of one's kinks or quirks, particularly if they do not harm you or others, is great. I do hope you feel this way IRL. :)

I've made many friends upon coming onto FA. Everybody is really wonderful (and many will be added into the previously mentioned afterparty picture). The other friends at the end are oc's of my friends: Rewrite is Lysis's, Kuri is Kurika's, Black is thebackup 's, and White belongs to theconflicted .
Sadly I haven't been able to go out during Halloween this year as I've had work (I was still able to dress up at least). Plinkie is more so a more confidant me. I doubt I'd always be that confident but I'm trying to get over the parts I previously thought as "negative" and accept me and my feelings as a whole. Doing art such as this his helping the process after all X3
I doubt I'd end up going out in public like this though XD I"m a shy one.

You bring up a great point in how Plinkie is a variant take on the real you. This is how Yosh is to me. :)
What's been a nice experience is kind of using my OC to "Fish for Friends". I cast Yosh out there and see who may be interested in saying "Hello" or even carrying on a conversation. Over time I have made a number of great friends to whom I know both as their character as well as who they really are beyond the characters they create.
It's fun learning how we all use the arts to cope with our respective life struggles. We post our work and those who see it go, "I get this. I want to talk about this." and a friendship could soon blossom as your art gave someone a feeling of being understood where otherwise they didn't. This works in the opposite way, too, as you may find a work that really jumps out at you, comment, and a great friendship may ensue.
When I first started here I was a total coward. Yosh was never seen without having his shorts on. I was too afraid. But as I got more comfortable through friends encouraging me in how okay it was to be myself I gradually evolved Yosh to the point where he can have as little or as much clothing as fits the moment. It's nice since it makes me feel like I can be as open as I want to be with those who are interested in knowing the man behind the quacker. I also have learned a lot about autism, homosexuality, transgender, disabilities of various sorts, etc. in which I never would've without having Yosh as my little buddy to let others know I care to really know them if they don't mind knowing me.
I hope you are able to continue making great friends here. There's so many wonderful people to whom you will gain so much from simply by being pals with. My mind has never been more open to so many things as you'll often find out how a person's particular kink, gender, disability, sexual preference, etc. comes second to the actual human being you meet behind the pretty picture. :)
