It’s kind of hard for me to remember, but around the time I told myself I need to get cracking for a Halloween picture, I was having a hard time deciding on what to do for this year. I’ve mulled around the idea of doing a doctor who themed one, with me as either the ‘Sixth’ or ‘Tenth’ doctor, and Simba as the Ninth…and don’t concern yourself if you’re not too much a nerd to remember which ones which, even I had to double check myself. I just wasn’t in the mood for it though I’ve been considering doing that for the past few years.

But anyways…not sure where I came to ‘Swat Kats’ I just know I’m happy I went with it. I never got to see SW when it original aired, I didn’t have cable at that time…back when the cartoon network had worthwhile shows, I didn’t see it until 2011 I think, maybe 2010…I can’t remember those years so of mush together for some reason. But I really loved it, from the very beginning it had a lot of depth and character development…once you got past some of the goofiness, T-bones sexiness made up for any of that. It just got better and better through every episode, the only one I didn’t like was the last, which was pretty much just a string of clips, so morbid and depressing…it’s like ‘hey kids, look at all this cool shit this show had to offer, yea, you won’t be seeing that anymore, here, choke on 10 hours of Scooby doo back to back!’

Sigh…

I meant to do some fan work shortly after seeing it, but was never really happy with what I had sketched, and then it just became dated…eventually I’ll get back to it.
