Something this nice would surely have a micro GPS tracker in it, they aren't terribly expensive and it leads you within 10 feet I think. I thought about chipping my laundry with RFID because of thieves.

yeh that's the best way to go ^^ (also on your more expensive items, add little bells so you're instantly alerted to movement)
Also, you can get "invisable markers" that are only visable in UV reactive light, so if you ever need to prove an item was made by you you can show the "invisable watermark" if you will :P
