
Ever since an incident in which They were split in two– and became two separate beings until reunited– They've insisted on being called They/Them.
They don't speak of how They came to be, or of anything else; They are mute.
Unlike a lot of gelatinous creatures, They are actually more contemplative than silly: If They have no brain, how do They think? If they have no nerves, how do They feel? How are They even alive?
The lack of an answer to these questions bothers Them to no end.
They're also friends with Basch and Hodge, two fellow oddities.
