A ghostly figure float to the microphone. He taps it a few times before he begins:Hello everyone. Time to officially announce the winner of the horror story competition. I have the envelope right here. *Rips it open and takes out paper*
And the winner of the 2nd Annual Best Horror Story 2014 is…
……… Who the Heck is Freddy!?!
Well, the votes are in and the points are tied at zero. Both competitors like the other's story. This means that we will have to find a tie breaker. And after kidnappi- I mean, Finding a volunteer in Rusty's real life brother… and forcibly (Allowing) him to read both stories. Here are the resulting conclusions…
The Elite
Very original and creative. I felt like this story had a point and surprised me as to its conclusion. Not a bad read as a whole and left just enough details to keep an audience interested.
My Pet Werewolf
There. It's read. If you (Rusty) want feed back, here goes. Your story had three major sections. It was a bit overly complex for a short story. Also, what 10 year old boy talks like that and can't go pee in the woods on their own? I know you didn't. Your story is very original as well. It has character development. The twist I found confusing, but I tend to forget details after 18 pages. Overall still good work. Not my cup of tea. But I'm sure it would still have a larger fanbase at a convention.
Conclusion: I say your pen-pal (Tricky) won, but only because he kept to a simple plot with a pretty interesting twist, even though I'm not into the Sci-Fi space alien genre personally.
So I didn't win. There's always next year. Yeah, I know the picture is kind of late, but It took me forever to find the time to finish that trophy. Would you believe that my scanner is still on the fritz. It's nice enough of
to ink and color this, but My logo just doesn't deserve to be there. Still, he should be proud of everything that he's managed to accomplish since the two of us split up our accounts. Go ahead and check out his story. It's very deep, while not very long. Honestly, reminds me a bit of Poe's work. Albeit, not as good, but Good none the less. I will Get My own Trophy Next year ya overgrown cat! :P
As for the trophy design… Enjoy…
