I don't believe it is. This commission was received through e-mail from a person who doesn't use FA much from best I can tell. ^^; I can definitely see the resemblance, though the black part of this character is more of a gray-brown here. :3

Haha! Alrighty, I just wanted to clarify! I've actually had people try to commission me for stolen characters before, so I wanted to make sure that they were indeed different. O.O (I still don't understand why people do that! It absolutely baffles me! )

Yeah it's annoying. I would love to see the character this art is for though! I love the coloration

There is someone who has been commissioning art of sona.
An this looks exactly like him.
But I dont see the green side neck lines going down.
But just heads up someone has been steeling texs sona for art. ...

This could be a possibility and I will keep an eye out for future commissions.
However, there are several differences, including eye color (hard to tell from the lighting but one is blue,) fur color being closer to a dull brown than black, piercings, lack of shoulder markings, a collar, etc. etc.

I was given a description and a color palette to work off of. It's possibly my mistake that it looks so similar to someone else's character that I had never even seen until I posted this. XD There are probably dozens of green, black/brown, white canines in the fandom with similar colors and I can't keep track of them all. :P

I just don't like blaming someone without proof or giving them the benefit of the doubt when there are other reasonable explanations, my clients especially.
I appreciate the warning, but if there is a problem, I would much prefer the owner of the character to tell me himself. :3 I don't see a journal posted about the situation.
Granted, were it more obvious and I haven't seen this color scheme used a thousand times, I would be more inclined to agree.

Upon further inspection, I do recall an icon my client used that showed in every e-mail they sent. I went through SEVERAL pages of NeonTex's gallery and found the image that it came from. (On the last page, I do believe. )

As I said, I require proof before throwing someone under the bus, my clients especially. :P

I will edit the description of the submission to reflect this and reach out to my client and see if I could possibly help them come up with something a bit more unique.
